Check position info

You can check your positions and pending orders from the "Trade" tab in the Toolbox of MetaTrader5 (MT5). Here we'll take a look at how to check this information on MT5.

Step 1

Click the "Trade" tab in the Toolbox. You can check your positions.

Item name

Symbol

Symbol name.

Ticket number.

Entry time.

Type

Position type: sell or buy.

Volume

Trade volume of the position in lots.

Entry price. For pending orders, limit/stop prices will be displayed.

S/L

Stop-loss (S/L) level.

T/P

Take-profit (T/P) level.Take-profit (T/P) level.

Price

Current price.

Profit

Profit/loss in the base currency of the account. For pending orders, it will be shown as "placed" as no P/L is made.

To show more items in the "Trade" tab, right-click in the Toolbox and hover the pointer over "Columns" to choose the items you wish to add.
