Draw vertical/horizontal line

On MetaTrader4 (MT4) / MetaTrader5 (MT5), you can display a vertical line parallel to the price axis or a horizontal line parallel to the time axis. Use the vertical line to highlight the time, and use the horizontal line to highlight the price. Place multiple vertical lines to see the change in price over a specific period. The horizontal line can be used as a resistance line or a support line.

Here we will look at how to draw vertical/horizontal lines on MT4/MT5.

Switch between MT4/MT5 tabs to check the steps for each.
