Reopen closed chart

On MetaTrader4 (MT4) / MetaTrader5 (MT5), you can reopen charts you've closed. When you do, the objects and indicators you drew on the chart will be displayed as well.

Here we will look at how to reopen the closed chart on MT4/MT5.

Switch between MT4/MT5 tabs to check the steps for each.

Step 1

Click "File" and move the pointer to "Open Deleted". Select the symbol you wish to restore from the list of recently-closed charts.

Step 2

The chart will be restored.

Step 3

You can permanently delete a chart by clicking "File">"Open Deleted">"Remove" and selecting the chart you wish to delete. When a popup appears saying that the chart will be removed, click "Yes".

Step 1
