On MetaTrader4 (MT4) / MetaTrader5 (MT5), you can change timeframes. There are 9 different timeframes in MT4, and 21 in MT5.

Here we will look at how to change the chart timeframe on MT4/MT5.
Switch between MT4/MT5 tabs to check the steps for each.
You can change timeframes from the menu, the toolbar, and the chart.
Click "Charts" in the menu and hover the pointer over "Timeframes" to select your preferred timeframe.
Select a timeframe in the timeframe toolbar.
Right-click on the chart and hover the pointer over "Timeframes" to select your preferred timeframe.
MT4 can display a total of 9 timeframes: 4 different minutes (M1, M5, M15, M30), 2 different hours (H1, H4), daily, weekly and monthly.
