This indicator automatically detects divergences by comparing price highs and lows with RSI highs and lows, and displays both regular and hidden divergences on the price chart and RSI subwindow, supporting trading decisions on potential reversals and trend continuation.

Identify potential reversals with RSI divergence
It identifies pivot highs and lows for both price and RSI, then automatically detects combinations where divergence occurs. Both bullish and bearish RSI divergences are displayed on both the price chart and the RSI subwindow, allowing you to clearly see which highs and lows to compare and to avoid missing potential market reversals.
Confirm trend continuation with hidden divergence
Hidden RSI divergences, which occur from different price and RSI combinations than regular divergences, are also detected automatically. By indicating potential trend continuation, they help determine whether a pullback is temporary and support better entry timing.
Filter signals with RSI zone & trend filters
Monitoring signals across multiple symbols and timeframes can be overwhelming. Use the RSI Zone Filter to limit signals to overbought and oversold zones, or the Trend Filter to show only signals aligned with the moving average direction, helping you focus on the most relevant ones.
View the main chart and RSI subwindow together
Detected divergences are displayed as paired lines on both the price chart and the RSI, making it easy to see which highs and lows were used. Verify the basis of each signal before incorporating it into your trading decisions.
Get notified of divergences
Once an RSI divergence is confirmed, you can receive alerts via pop-up, push notification, or email without having to keep multiple symbol and timeframe charts open and monitored. Each notification includes details such as the symbol, timeframe, and RSI value, so you can quickly identify which chart to check.
How to install
To use the RSI Divergence Indicator, install the "[Myforex] RSI Divergence Indicator" file on MetaTrader4/MetaTrader5.
Step 1
Click "File" from the menu bar at the top of MetaTrader4/MetaTrader5 and choose "Open Data Folder".
Step 2
After opening the data folder, double-click the folder "MQL5 (MQL4 for MetaTrader4)" in it to open it.
Step 3
Double-click to open the "Indicators" folder in the MQL5 file.
Step 4
Save the "[Myforex] RSI Divergence Indicator" in the "Indicators" folder.
Step 5
Once the file is in the folder, right-click "Indicators" in the Navigator and choose "Refresh" from the displayed menu.
Step 6
After checking that the RSI Divergence Indicator is shown in the "Indicators" of the Navigator, apply it to a chart by double-clicking or dragging and dropping.
Step 7
Refer to the "How to set up" page to make further settings in the "Inputs" tab, then click "OK".
How to set up
After applying the indicator to the chart, set the parameters according to your style.
Step 1
First, open the "Inputs" tab.
Step 2
Set the parameters as follows.
General Settings

| RSI period | Specifies the RSI calculation period. |

| Overbought level | Set the RSI overbought level. This level is also used by the RSI Zone Filter. |
| Oversold level | Set the RSI oversold level. This level is also used by the RSI Zone Filter. |
| Middle level | Specifies the middle line in the RSI subwindow. |

Detection Settings

| Left pivot bars | Specifies the number of bars to the left used for detecting pivot points (high/low reversals). |
| Right pivot bars | Specifies the number of bars to the right used for detecting pivot points. Pivot points will not be confirmed until these bars have closed. |
| Minimum pivot distance | Sets the minimum bar distance between two pivots to be compared. Divergence will not be detected between pivots that are too close together. |
| Maximum pivot distance | Sets the maximum bar distance between two pivots to be compared. Divergence will not be detected between pivots that are too far apart. |
| Maximum calculation bars | Sets the maximum number of past bars considered for divergence detection. |
| Use confirmed pivot | Enable this option to use only confirmed pivots for divergence detection and prevent signals from disappearing. When disabled, unconfirmed pivots are also used for detection, which may cause signals to disappear as conditions change. |
| Minimum signal interval | Specifies the minimum number of bars required between signals in the same direction (bullish or bearish). Signals in the opposite direction are not affected. |

Note on Divergence Line Display
On MT4, divergence lines are not displayed on the price chart when using the weekly (W1) or monthly (MN1) timeframe. Divergence lines in the RSI subwindow are displayed as usual. This limitation does not apply to the MT5 version.
Confirmed divergences remain unchanged during regular price movement. However, reloading historical data, reapplying the indicator, or changing parameters, symbols, or timeframes could cause recalculation and changes to the display.
